This week we are reading about the symbols of America. We have read about our flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Bald Eagle, the Liberty Bell, and Mount Rushmore. When I went to Washington DC I saw many other symbols like the White House, the Washington Monument, and the Capital Building. These symbols stand for things that are important to our country. Tell me about a symbol we learned about and why you think it is important.

ReplyDeleteWhen my family went to Washington DC- We saw the Declaration of Independence. It was really cool. This year in 3rd grade we are learning the Preamble to our Constitution, which is all the laws of America- it's over 200 years old.
